The newest book
for families and
co-parents.
Autumn and Sam have noticed their family is different from their friends. They have two houses - one with mom and one with dad while their friends have just one home with both parents.
This leads to many emotions for them as they navigate their friendships, family time, and even birthdays. Sometimes these emotions make them feel uncertain, sad, happy, and even fearful.
Join them on their journey as they always manage to find their smiles again.
What readers are saying
Loved how it was told from a child’s perspective. Illustrations are perfectly done to tell the story.

About chanece wagner
Chanece Wagner has lived in the North Texas area all her life. Most important to her is her family of three children, two dogs, and her husband. It was during one of the most challenging times of their lives that inspired her to write this book. She hopes that her work brings smiles and comfort to children, and adults, during complicated situations.
If you don’t find her out and about cheering on her children, you can almost always find her around her two energetic dogs or traveling with her husband.
